Turned 18 and suddenly the top surgery min age went up to 19

I dont know exactly what to say but it really makes me so upset. I've be waiting so patiently for this since when I first found out it was a thing people could do- like 6 years of wanting this and nope! Gotta wait another to even start anything! Pisses me off and makes me just not hopeful at all. Like how do I know next year it wont be 20 min? Probably will be. I hate this place.

My parents said it wouldnt change and I was being dramatic and whatever else and now they are quiet cause guess who was right? Worst part is that i was so fucking close to getting an appointment and consultation. Then the day before it we were told I wasnt old enough. Honestly what makes this worse for me is thag one of my friends who doesnt live in America just got top surgery. I'm so happy for them but it just started making me remember my current predicament and now im upset again. Why couldn't that be me? It would have been if the age wasnt changed.
