Skull merchant fun?!

So i got bored one evening and watched a video about skull merchant on youtube, and somehow it peeked my interest enough to try her out. Now iknow about all the „skull merchant is boring/sucks” stuff but i have found her suprisingly very fun and im still wondering why alot of people still dislike her to this day or think she is genuinly unplayable. I mean i remember how horrible she was before her rework but now she is not so bad anymore, yet theres still alot of hate towards her? Is there an actual reason im missing or is she just become the punching bag of dbd?
