MF couple visiting from NYC 18th-20th of August!

My girlfriend (28F) and I (27M) are visiting Melbourne and looking to have our first play party experience. She’s definitely a little bit more nervous than I am, but we are both excited and open to the idea!
I applied for membership at the Pineapple Bar to hopefully sign up for their under 38 night, but I’ve started to read mixed things, so I thought I would try to seek some advice!
What were your experiences there?
Did you have a good time?
Is there anywhere else that you would recommend we check out for a first time experience?
