[CA] luxury apartment pest control issue.

First week of move in and there are rat droppings in our patio after we were told during pre-inspection that it has been taken care of.

We are renting an apartment in a luxury apartment in California, during our visit, I noticed some rat droppings in the patio- the leasing specialist said it was probably because the apartment was vacant for sometime and they will take care of it since it is on the first floor we did not get too alarmed. They have put baits and pest control.

My question is the apartment complex supposed to get the patio professionally cleaned the droppings or we have to clean it because honestly it is not a small corner of the patio but all corners?
