Purchased faulty washer any help what could be causing water leak?
My washer went up, so I purchased this model Armani wash machine: NFW5800HW2 from someone. It is used and was supposedly perfectly fine and they just upgraded. I get it in and run a clean cycle
to clean it out it is leaking water. It is not coming from any of the hoses, the front of wash machine is bone dry. The back is bone dry everywhere. It is coming from underneath. It appears to be coming from somewhere that is not near the back as water doesn’t start until past a few inches away from the back of it. There was a small lose screw in the liner. And a small hole in the liner (guessing where the screw should have been) but I doubt that is the culprit. Also, another idea is that dog hair may be clogging something. After washing, I realized thwte was an insane amount of dog hair collected in the liner and stuck to glass part of door ( I should have inspected it better but she insisted it is perfectly fine, lesson learned) Could dog hair be clogging something and that causing the water? It’s significant amount of water not just a little drop here or there.
I really don’t feel like driving back to this woman house as I know it would likely escalate, so I’d rather just try to fix it myself but I will if I have to but if anyone has any suggestions or ideas at all on where to start what to look for and check I would be so very appreciative aa I don’t know anything about washing machines. Thank you in advance!
