Downloadable music blog

I need your help, there was a website in the 2000s where you could download full albums mostly by female artists, the albums were not successful in commercial terms but some of them were real treasures. Obviously it must be dead, but the name was something like "the island of deserted discs" or "the isle of deserted artists", as you can see that's the problem I don't remember the name, that's all I need. Thanks!
