Laptop recommendation for a new gamer!

I wanna get into gaming, but I'll be living in a dorm, and I don't want to lug a PC all the way there and back, so it would be more efficient for me if I had a more convenient option- like a laptop.

• Form factor

• Intended usage

I'm purely using it for gaming. Some on my list are Batman: Arkham Knight, Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil, Baldur's Gate 3, Life is Strange, Little Nightmares, Silent Hill, and Oneshot. I have an HP Pavilion I use for Minecraft, but I don't know if it could handle all of those.

• Desired battery life

Around 2-4 hours would be great.

• Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

Performance, Battery life, Size, weight. Weight doesn't really matter to me, I'll make it work.

• Info/Requirements

I'm not well-versed in laptops or gaming laptops at all. I know it's more specs-based, so it doesn't HAVE to be a gaming laptop in name, and I tried to do my research, but I felt like I couldn't find any laptop without someone saying it sucked (it's reddit after all). So if I could get a concrete recommendation, or just some more information on what to look for, I'd appreciate it!
