My puppy ran away and I can’t calm down

I want everyone to know I got him back and he’s safe. He’s a pomsky and 10 months old.

For context, I bring him outside with me quite a bit in the evenings once it’s cooled down enough for him to be outside. I always put him in his harness and clip him to a tie out that lets him roam quite a bit of the back yard but not enough to be out I of our yard. I always keep an eye on him and never leave him alone, for fear of him running away (in certain situations he can get out of his harness). He is was wrapped around the clothes line pole and couldn’t figure out how to get back around it and untangle himself. I didn’t notice this at the time because I was giving my neighbor a quick hug and said hi to him (we’re very close). I was about to sit back down in my chair and noticed he was out of his harness. I tried to catch him before he started running but he was too fast. I ran for my life chasing him and trying to catch him. He ran almost 2 blocks away. I’m so grateful nothing happened to him and he’s ok and I got him back.

After I got back and my adrenaline wore off I noticed that I felt really shaky, and I still do. It’s been about 20 minutes since I got him back and brought him home. But I can’t stop shaking and can’t calm myself down (from crying). I was just so terrified something was gonna happen to him or I’d lose him forever. I just can’t calm down. That was so scary. I’m just so glad I have him back. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost him.
