2011 Ford Edge Limited Charging System

My husband swapped his Marine boat battery out with my car battery and I had no idea until the auto mechanic pointed it out to me. My battery died, my alternator went out, and now , the touch-screen monitor which controls many of the features has gone completely out. The total cost of my car’s repair bill is estimated at approximately. $2,000.00. I had no knowledge of how long the boat battery had been in my car but my car definitely had a meltdown because of it.
