I turned a personal itch into a gamified self-improvement app with tens of thousands of users

I'm the developer of Solo Hunter: Level Up.

I started with a simple itch: I wanted real workouts and daily goals to feel like progression in an RPG instead of another habit-tracker checkbox.

The product evolved into daily quests, XP and stats, equipment, dungeons, boss fights, a Shadow Army, story seasons, guilds, raids, duels, and penalty quests. The most useful lesson so far has been that visible progress gets people through the first week, but variety and meaningful unlocks are what keep the loop from feeling repetitive.

The app is free to download and most features can be used for free. An optional subscription unlocks additional features and customization.

I'm working on the next stage publicly and would value builder feedback: which retention problem would you tackle first—onboarding, quest variety, or long-term rewards?
