Anyone else hearing a loud high-pitched noise near University Ave?

Has anyone else been hearing a loud, continuous high-pitched noise around University Ave today?
It suddenly started today and has been going on for hours. I can hear it very clearly inside my apartment, but I also went outside and could hear it loudly between the buildings, so it’s definitely coming from somewhere outside.
It occasionally stops for a short time and then starts again. I already contacted my apartment maintenance, but they haven’t identified the source yet.
