Although I am technically a transfer, I have no actual experience in college and I'm terrified I'm not prepared
Even though I am technically a transfer student going into my sophomore year with 33 credits, I have no college experience besides taking an art class in high school and I guess mililtary tech school. But those were 4 years ago.
I desperately want to succeed, but I'm looking at the material I am supposed to know for Math and Chem and I'm horrified. I've forgotten everything, even the basics. I didn't even think to look at canvas until right now and classes start on monday. Also I was apparently expected to contact my professors?? I was in new student orientation with all the other new transfers at my school yesterday, and they all seemed so knowledgeable and responsible. I am the first one in my immediate family to go to college (My mother technically went, but she very quickly dropped out and went to the military.), so I didn't even know who to talk to about when getting ready for college. I only just ordered my books today and haven't even gotten my calculator cause I have no money.
Yall I am so screwed. I hope that I'm just nervous, but I don't think that's it. I think I'm genuinely unprepared.
