10 minutes in, I'm out.
Too many jump cuts and camera waving around like Woody Allen movie. Seth mumbles. We're supposed to feel with his character. Probably a good film arts deconstruction piece for analysis. We're given the premise in the first few minutes. One has to wonder how Louis B Mayer was able to make great films and money at the same time but maybe we're too sophisticated now to accept uncritically what the Golden Age of Film could do.
