How long does application take

Hey i’ve never applied for anytype of assistance till now and i’m wondering why it’s taking so long to hear back from HRA on my case. I applied almost 2 months ago on June 15. They gave me a one time payment and I haven’t heard anything else about my current status. When I login to see my status It says I need to call for an interview but then when I call for an interview, it says I already had the interview because I DID have the interview a day after I applied, which is how I got the one time payment and then I went to the office sometime in July they told me that “I need to be patient” and “I need to wait 40 days” The lady was very rude and told me that I need to be patient and wait. It’s now been almost 2 months and I still haven’t heard anything back and the app is still saying I need to do my interview which I already did so I’m confused.. any ideas ? I tried calling the number to speak with an agent but i was left on hold for three hours both times .
