Deactivated account with no reason why. Any ideas on what I could have done to deserve this?

My account was placed under review stating “no action is needed. We’ll reach out by email”. After a couple days I decided to create a ticket inquiring why this happened and if I need to provide documentation or anything to get out of review. A day later I was emailed back with this: “Following a routine review, we’ve decided to discontinue your participation on our platform. While we’re unable to share specific details from the review, this decision is final and cannot be reconsidered.”

I was a semi active reviewer (1-2 tasks a week) on project G****r and made a total of ~500 bucks. My tasks were high quality achieving above 95% grade and always passed audit.

The only thing I can think of is that I always use a VPN on my phone and would sometimes go on the handshake app to see my payout status. One time I opened the app and it said to disable my VPN and I did. I am a U.S. citizen, I offered to provide any information, but doesn’t seem like they cared to see it.

Anyone experience something similar? Anyone have ideas as to why I am being discontinued?
