i [21 F] was always the one to reach out first after an argument with my bf [24 M] and this time, i didnt...
I (21 F) has always been the pne to reach out after a conflict between me and my bf (24 M). I got tired of it actually, because even if its clearly I'm not the one at fault, I was always been the one to say sorry first or reach out first. I don't let the argument stay for too long like a day. We never have been in silence for over 1 day ever since we were together, we are 3 years and a half already.
We talked about this already, and he said he will change. We had a conversation that whoever is at fault, they will be the one to reach out no matter what.
Oh, before I forget to mention, we are LDR, we only met for like 5 times, and those 5 times, I was the one that travels to him because he always say he doesnt have the time or money (he was still a student back then, he was 21, and now he has a work, 1 year already and idk why he cant even come here to visit me)
going back, we had this argument, silly stuff to have a conflict about. we were gonna have a movie night on discord and he was asking about what movie i wanted to watch. i felt so excited and happy because he only asks me for what i wanna watch sometimes. so i recommended this romance korean movie. and he quickly declined it.
i was wondering, when he wanted to watch transformers or any anime series/movies with me (even though i dont know anything about those stuff), i go watch those with him because i feel like i am being close to him when i try to understand why he liked that movie or series. it doesnt matter to me what kind of movie it is, scifi, horror, mystery... and now i wanted to introduce him something new... because i thought he would do the same but no.
i felt so disappointed and unconsidered. so i went silent. and he played a horror/thriller movie and asked why i went silent, and i explained it to him what disappointed me, and he told me "now im not in the mood to watch this movie because youre like that, im going to sleep" and he ended the call.
after 10 hours he sent me a message saying "?".
what will i respond to that? lol. so i didnt respond and read his message. cause wdym "?"
TLDR; I’m always the one who reaches out first after fights, even when I’m not at fault. We agreed that whoever is wrong should initiate, but during our latest fight, he dismissed my feelings, ended the call, then 10 hours later only sent “?”. I left him on read because I expected more effort.
is that normal for guys or am i just settling to a wrong one ? :(( pleaseee i need answers if guys are really like this... thank you
