Moving into a brand-new apartment building, anything I should be aware of?

I was wondering if anyone has experience living in an apartment building that was just completed. I’m mostly concerned about odors/VOCs from new construction materials, furniture, flooring, etc., especially since I would be moving in shortly after construction is finished.
I’d also appreciate hearing about any other pros/cons or unexpected issues you experienced living in a brand-new building. Would you recommend it?
