What is Palword really about?

Since the game is a mixed of Capturing creatures and survival adventure, and game progression and leveling up is not really an issue (the grind is decent compared to other games), what's your feeling about it? Is it about base building an optimization? Getting to the end game? Just breed the best pals and capture the legendaries Poke style?

Whats that think that will keep people coming back to the game over and over?
