What are the affects of lawn pesticides?

About a week ago, I was walking down the sidewalk in my neighborhood and I walked by a yard that had the yellow sign saying pesticide application keep off. I believe that part of my shoe walked on the yard but I’m not sure if it was the right part of the yard that had the pesticide application because the sign was a little bit further back from where I stepped.

I’ve been having a panic attack that I might get poisoned because of where my shoe has come in contact with other things I own. I throwaway socks that have touched the ground where the shoe has been in my house. I threw away a towel because it fell on the ground near where the shoe was put. And also I threw a couple other things.

I’m afraid I’m gonna get sick or possibly worse if I come in contact with these things because of the pesticide.
