DLC opinion (SPOILERS)

I finished the DLC last night with my husband and I must say it was incredible. It did feel short but what can you expect from a dlc. To me it was definitely more depressing than the main game, simply beautiful. It shows it was made with love with every little detail. I’m glad I got the season pass since I cannot wait for the next ones and how this story will continue.

I must say I was kinda confused when the prisoner was being “attacked” by some weird freezing. I did read some theories from the main game and how everything is in a loop, involving sacrifices etc. I just don’t connect the dots with those weird powers? Maybe they are both dead? It wouldn’t be impossible with how the world is at. If somebody has a better theory please share it.

I probably skipped a few little rats in the suitcases that it showed whenever you took a picture of it, I will replay it to find every single thing. But can someone explain what was that?

Also whenever the bomb dropped on top of the horse and the 3rd kid I did cry lmao I felt really bad. But then the sequence when you go down it is mind blowing gorgeous. Just going straight down to hell.

I do know this dlc is a prequel from the main game, but I don’t connect the dots within the world going to shambles. Since I read a post saying the girl with the bunny mask “was technically the catalyst” of the world going to shit for all the sacrifices being made, kinda like a wish from the monkey’s paw.

To us it is definitely a message to our current world in how corrupt some “adults” act and bring their problems to the unfortunate “kids”. Then this unfortunate souls reach to indescribable and evil methods to bring some peace to their lives. My husband thinks there is no coincidence this game came out while in the midst of the genocide in Gaza.

Beautiful game, beautiful and important message to bring to the table.
