What laptop/Macbook should I get for med school?

I will soon be starting medical school in october (wahoo!!) and I was wondering what macbook would be best to last me 6 years. I currently have an Ipad A16 11th gen and an apple pen which I had been using for A levels. I got this recently for Christmas last year and was wondering what MacBook I should get for med school (potentially laptop but all my stuff is apple so would rather stick with it if anything else is better). I have currently looked at the neo and the air m4 which if i got the neo I could by out right but the air i’d have to pay monthly, however I was slightly worried about the neo’s battery life and longevity as my ipad’s battery life isn’t like crazy either. I need something for writing essays and what not… would look forward to hearing any advice!
