36 [M4F] TX, USA- Nerdy guy looking for a nerdy girl who’s into art & horror

Like many others here, I’ve had otherwise promising relationships become derailed by the realization that my partner and I want different things out of life. But the truth is that even though I know I don’t want children, I don’t want my life & my relationship to be defined as merely being “childfree”. There’s so much more to me than that, and so I’d like to make this post about what is important to me, rather than what isn’t.

So the basics about me- Single, never married, no kids (obviously). Non-religious & left-leaning. A bit on the nerdy side, I love sci-fi/horror/fantasy anything, books, movies, games, etc. I consider myself a creative type, and I’m drawn to other creative types. It doesn’t matter to me what outlet you have for expressing your creativity, whether it be dancing, music, taxidermy, etc. As for me, I enjoy writing, painting, sketching, and art in general. I also enjoy the outdoors, I’m more inclined to country life than city life, and I love nature and animals, especially cats & dogs. Other things I love include literature & philosophy, true crime, and films & television. I’m a bit of a cinephile, I love collecting physical media (mostly Blu-rays) and one of my favorite pastimes is blind watching the films which pop up on my IMDb recommendations. I’m also a gamer, I tend to play narrative-focused single player games. I’m not much for multiplayer, but I can be persuaded to go co-op with the right partner. Physically I’m about 5 11, with gray-streaked light brown hair, with a Dad-bod physique. I try to keep active and exercise daily, and I’m determined to get myself into better shape and have a body I can be proud of and feel confident about. I realize physical attraction is important so I’m open to exchanging face/body pics straight away.

As far as what I’m looking for in a partner, someone with similar interests & values is highly preferred. I’d also prefer someone with hobbies & passions, it doesn’t really matter what they might be, whether gardening or cosplaying or baking, etc. I just prefer someone who has something in their life that drives them. I have a bit of a weakness for weird and morbid girls, as well as witchy girls and those with alt vibes and aesthetics.

I’m open to all races & ethnicities. In terms of appearance, I like a pretty face as much as the next guy, but facial attractiveness is not especially important to me. I’m more attracted to particular body types, specifically slimthicks, girls with curves, and softer, slightly chubby body types. Much like the legendary Sir Mix-a-Lot, I’m drawn to certain figures. I’m less into BBWs, plus size, skinny & fit girls, and muscle girls. That being said, these are preferences, not strict requirements, so if you are interested and feel like we might still be a good match don’t hesitate to reach out.
