How stupid am I?

My mortgage wasn't released after the initial survey was done.

Further inspection of the lintels was required to verify they were up to scratch as the brickwork above was bowing.

Through the estate agent selling the house I paid £700 for a structural survey. After waiting for three weeks I have eventually been sent another level 2 home buyers report.

I've spoken to the estate agent asking where the structural survey is, he says I didn't ask for this. I've asked for my money back because I did not pay for a level 2 survey. There is no paper trail to say I asked for a structural report.

Do I have to take this on the chin? Or is there any room for me to either get the structural report done or get my money back?
