Am I the only one thinking that LSU got ahead of this Jayden Daniels story by smearing him?

I'm sure this will get deleted because I have no source or link, but just seems like they got ahead of this story by giving their mouthpieces around the country a story of Jayden being the bad guy and making ridiculous asks and the public took the bait hook, line and sinker.

I mean, the football program famous for taking money from a children's hospital would never lie to save face, right?

Seems he just wanted to be paid if LSU is going to use him to sell their program which in an era of NIL seems completely reasonable.
