McKinsey FT interview - 2026 MBA grad

Hi! I’m a May 2026 MBA graduate (international) and recently applied for a full-time role at McKinsey. Today I received the invitation to complete the Solve assessment.

Does anyone know if this is part of the normal recruiting cycle/process for recent MBA graduates who are applying after graduation, rather than through campus recruiting?

I’m also curious about how likely it is to move to interviews after receiving Solve. I went through McKinsey recruiting last year (FT) and made it to the interview stage, but unfortunately my interviews didn’t go very well.

I’m trying to understand what to realistically expect from the process/timeline this time around.
