Seattle Progressives vs rest of country

Politics

I see candidates and elected officials all over the country running in progressive platforms that are genuinely likeable.

Mamdani, El Sayed, AOC are the top names that I obviously think about that just have "it". They have good issues, can articulate, and just seem like generally pleasant people.

Then we have our progressives that just seem absolutely miserable and never happy about anything. Why are we so different out here compared to the rest of the progressive movement?

Maybe it's because I'm here and don't check out other subs but even then we have to split subs because of different views (largely addiction related)

As a mid 40s guy I am really happy with the direction of the progressive party and I hope the US as a whole gets younger energetic people, but it just seems like we are getting left behind because we just can't do anything actionable without something going wrong or non stop complaining.
