Obscure moral panic: sex teams

I think alot of us remember some of the classic moral panics that our parents would hear about on the news or something like sex bracelets, jenkem and rainbow parties (BJ parties), but one of my favorites was the infamous sex team.

At least I was never aware of any real sex teams. To be clear, I'm not taking about people having group sex or a polyamarous group of friends. I'm talking about an actual , competitive team with things like a team name, weekly practice schedule, competitions against other sex teams etc.

Were any of you ever on a sex team, or at least aware of any real sex teams? How exactly does it work? Does each member "play" a different position? How does scoring work? Did your parents find out you were on a team?
