32 (F) TTC 2nd Cycle - Period Cramps Worsening?
Hi everyone, my husband and I have been TTC for the last two months. Both months negative. I noticed that my period cramps have worsened since TTC - has anyone else had this?
My irrational brain is worrying that it’ll be a sign of infertility linked with endometriosis or adenomyosis. I’ve often had painful cramps for 1-2 days but managed with ibuprofen, but last cycle I woke up in agonising pain that didn’t shift for hours, even with ibuprofen. I have a regular cycle, around 31 days.
Last year we had a chemical pregnancy (without TTC, but a happy accident) so perhaps that could be a good sign.
I’m finding it hard to relax about it. I’ve been obsessing over every symptom, and it’s only been two months.
My GP is sending me to get a transvaginal ultrasound and blood tests. I’ve had the ultrasound before, and nothing abnormal was picked up but I know that the scan can miss small lesions and fine scar tissue.
I’m mostly curious to know if anyone else experienced cramps worsening whilst TTC, and also any advice for TTC. I’m currently using LH strips and BBT testing.
Any help would be appreciated :)
