Where can I watch shows in Quebecois French with subtitles in both English and French? Help me learn your language 🥹 I love it

:Arfl: Arts/Culture

Hello! Salut!

I’m so sorry I’m unfortunately only an anglophone, but my dream is to move to Montreal or Ottawa (wherever life takes me!), I’m not in Canada right now but part of my family lives in Toronto and they keep wondering why I love Quebec hahaha. I just really like how passionate you guys are about protecting your language and how there’s a history of resilience there. I really like how diverse it is and the hockey! I’m a sens fan, still but I know I know. I also want to do my masters in political science in either Ottawa or Montreal and I know that it’s a field that often has a French requirement depending on the school.

I speak spanish so I think French may be easier for me to learn. I’ve been looking for courses online for Quebec french specifically but haven’t found many yet though I know of the Mauril app! I found a French course near where I currently live but it’s French from France and I know there’s some differences there.

I started watching Shoresy but the site I watch it on (I don’t have access to Canadian streaming services cause I’m not currently there :() doesn’t translate the french parts so I’m always at a lost. But it’s helped me learn the bad words at least!

Would love to hear all your suggestions for learning, for shows, and music! Merci!
