Game gets real choppy when in combat with a lot of people

Normally it runs at 60-90fps on regular gameplay but in high end encounters it drops to 30fps, not a fan.
I have an I7-6700 and a RX 5700 XT.
What are some recommended settings to drop or mods to uninstall / install that’d help?
