Should I follow this guy without overthinking it?

Okay so there’s this guy at my school that I’ll call B . We are both seniors now and I’ve known OF him since like 9th grade, but we’ve never actually talked. We don’t have any classes together and we’re not really friends, but we know who each other are.

I’ve always thought he was cute, but recently I’ve gotten more curious about him because my coworker goes to my school too and she used to date his brother. She told me he is single, and he’s pretty mysterious/private. Which is actually perfect for me because I am that same exact way. I honestly just want to know what he’s actually like as a person.

The interesting part is that back a couple months, after my ex and I broke up about 2 months after, he added me on Snapchat first. I would def say he does know of me and my ex and knew we we dated. I added him back and we snapped for a little while, but eventually it just stopped and idk what happened to his acc. We never really talked.

Me and him this year have absolutely 0 classes together, I do not talk to this guy and I barely see him in the hallways but i genuinely think he’s cute and i’m pretty curious about him. It’s just hard to approach/talk to him when you’re shy & scared but also…you just aren’t around each other.

Any advice or any not-so-harsh things I could do to try and maybe make something happen or get his attention?
