Ooni Volt 2 as wedding present?

Thinking of buying a Volt 2 as a wedding present but am concerned about its longevity. Is the cracking stone the norm or are all the complaints here more likely to be outliers?

Is there any buzz about a revision or Volt 3 in the near future?
