[TOMT] [2000s-2010s] a movie about people being hunted by a creature in the woods

i must have watched it around 2013 or so on tv.
i have been looking for it since then but i think there’s so many movies about this that i don’t know which one may be.
it’s found footage but i just remember this: it was night vision, a man is walking through the woods and he realizes he’s standing on bones (i think they say those are animal bones). i also remember some scene where a man is seriously injured and you can hear the creature making creepy noises.
i don’t remember anything else, maybe something important to do with a tree.
sorry if im too bad at explaining my memories.
another thing i remember and i don’t know if it’s helpful is that it was aired right after A perfect getaway, i don’t remember the channel.
please help and thank you.
