Best fireworks store around Michigan City?

For anyone around northwest Indiana or southwest Michigan, where do you usually buy fireworks?

I’ve been hearing about Black Bull Fireworks in Michigan City and was wondering how it compares with some of the other stores in the area. Michigan City seems like a convenient location for people coming from places like La Porte, New Buffalo, and the surrounding towns.

I’m mainly interested in price and selection. Some of the larger fireworks stores seem to have a much wider variety than the smaller seasonal stands, but I’m not sure whether the prices are actually better.

For people who have bought fireworks around Michigan City or the Michigan/Indiana border, which store has given you the best experience? Is Black Bull worth checking out, or are there other places nearby that you would recommend?
