I’ve been working on a browser game where you don’t click through dialogue options.

You actually have to talk.

You arrive in a new city and work your way through different districts by handling short conversations: negotiating, persuading, pushing back, asking the right questions, dealing with awkward situations, etc.

The AI character responds to what you actually say, so there isn’t one “correct” dialogue path. You can handle the same mission completely differently and get a different outcome.

There are currently 92 missions across 5 districts.

Most missions take only a few minutes, and I deliberately made the first ones pretty easy because I want this to feel like a game you can jump into rather than a communication course disguised as one.

You can try the first missions without paying:

I’m especially interested in whether three things work:

Does talking to the characters actually feel fun?

Do you understand what you’re supposed to achieve without too much explanation?

After finishing a mission, do you want to try another one?

Feel free to be brutal. At this stage, useful criticism is worth considerably more to me than compliments.

Thanks.
