Assumption holy day of obligation

The assumption is a holy day of obligation in my country this year but only one mass will be offered I think and it's in the early morning on Saturday. There is a 6.30pm friday mass offered at a different church. Does it cover the holy day of obligation even if the readings won't cover it?
