Hey everyone!
Just received my new **Jim Green AnatomX 719 in Bronco Brown (Size 8.5 UK)** and wanted to share a quick sizing review for anyone considering grabbing a pair, especially if you're coming from barefoot or minimalist footwear.
**My Sizing Context:**
**Usual Barefoot Size:** UK 8 across almost all barefoot and wide toe-box brands (Altra, Topo Athletic, vivobarefoot, xero shoes, wilding shoes.).

**Actual Foot Measurement:** 26.1 cm.

**The Sizing Dilemma & Decision:**
Since these were my first leather barefoot boots from Jim Green, I was a bit unsure about sizing. According to the Jim Green size chart, a **UK 8 equals 26 cm**. Given that my feet measure **26.1 cm**, I was worried a UK 8 would be too exact or tight once worn with socks.
I decided to size up half a size to **UK 8.5**, and I’m really glad I did!
**Fit & Initial Impressions:**
**Fit:** The UK 8.5 fits great. There’s just enough space at the front—roughly a finger's width—giving my toes room to relax. If I had gone with the UK 8, they definitely would have been too snug.

**Feel Out of the Box:** Right out of the box, the leather feels pretty stiff, but that's completely expected for real leather boots. I anticipate a bit of a break-in period before they fully conform to my feet.

**TL;DR / Advice:**
If your foot length is right on the edge of the size guide (or slightly above like mine), definitely consider sizing up half a size. Having that extra bit of toe space makes a big difference!
Hope this helps anyone currently stuck on which size to order! Let me know if you have any questions.
