8 days post botox no burping

This is kind of a vent/symptom sharing in case anyone knows anything/concern for my treatment success

I’ve been extremely symptomatic all my life, and all my symptoms are debilitating and have all had sudden onsets, pretty much instant. RCPD is the only thing that has ever matched most of my symptoms but not sure if it’s responsible for all of them.

I committed to getting the botox procedure and had it done 8 days ago.

All of my already existing symptoms have only gotten worse, I’m afraid to swallow anything, even my saliva due to how uncomfortable I am and my extreme emetophobia

I assumed by this time I’d be getting some relief in some way but it just gets worse by the day. I have had 0 burping, absolutely nothing. When I try to burp all I get is what I’ve always had which is what feels like reverse burping. Throat opens up but air goes in, not out.

As it has before, my symptoms get worse as the day goes on. For some reason, sleeping feels almost like getting reset. I always wake up feeling much better than I do before I go to bed.

Trying to eat anything after having breakfast is terrible, and dinner is impossible. Trying to sleep is also a terrible experience cause I fall into an episode of symptoms and start panicking.

I’m 8 days post botox like I said and I just don’t know what to do. Feels like I’m dying and can’t figure it out. Not trying to start a pity party here but when I say I’m extremely symptomatic, I mean I have no life, no job, no friends, no physical hobbies, life basically got robbed from me after the age of 16. Now I’m 24 and just rotting inside all day. Depressing. I was literally in tears walking up to the office the day I got my botox cause I finally saw hope for the first time in my life, and had another breakdown on the way to my car after the procedure was over cause I was in disbelief that something was actually being done about my health that wasn’t a test, but an actual solution.

I don’t know if 8 days is too early but it’s making me worried that I haven’t had even the tiniest microburp yet. What do I do?
