The Crawling Season

she falls through the corridors
sits in dark corners
through time/space
death brings new life
no wrong or right
fate's cruel hand cuts like a knife hells hound will bite
and fight mankind’s feeble
little plot
to cut out the rot
the side quest to jest
with the fool
the great and best tool
 begins to understand
sucked in like quicksand
 drowning in lies
a psychic demise
loosing all reason
no initiation
into this dead religion
every one is wrapped up tight
 reality is too bright
a blinding light
 for your mutated eyes
distorted sight
social decay
brainwashed
to stay washed white
to play childish games
pointless to say
the sky turns grey
on this dreary day
so cold and damp
with to many tears
spent on lost love
 lost faith
to many years
 bent on true freedom
hope for change
 in this unfeeling
broken
day dreaming
suicidal age
hallowed out
 sink into pain
swallowed whole
 all consuming
 night riding
 twisted shame
a tainted price to pay
to dig your own grave
killing the mask maker
distilling insane
leaving faces …..

………without names
