Pro vs Pro Max

Is there anyone who came from a Pro Max model to a Pro model? If so I’d like to know why? (I’d also like to know if people did the opposite switch)

Because when first Apple introduced this system, I thought and felt that pro max would be way to big for me, but over the years I’ve got used to the size (due to family using it) and now see it as a default and pro to be tiny.

So I’d like to know:
- how does the battery life compare between the 2?
- has the size been an issue for day to day use?
- how is the thermal performance?
