Woke up to the smell of smoke

There has been multiple incidents of wildfires in my local area in the past 24 hours. I woke up early this morning, the bedroom absolutely boiling, my baby warm and thirsty, and the room smelling of smoke.

I had opened the windows to try and get some cool air in but have had to close everything.

Thinking of all the mums and parents who have struggled to keep their little ones comfortable during the awful heatwaves this summer 💕
