The quiet habit that keeps me from putting anything out there
Lately I've noticed that every time I have an idea that feels a little different or personal, I end up shelving it because I'm sure nobody will actually notice or care. I don't mean this in a dramatic way, it's more like a small pause that turns into weeks and then months. The result is that I hold back on small things like sharing work, starting conversations, or even commenting in spaces where I might connect with people who think similarly. It feels safer to stay unseen than to risk being overlooked, but it's also starting to feel like the safer choice is costing me chances to be part of things I actually care about. I'm wondering how other people deal with that quiet hesitation before they decide whether something is worth putting out there.
