My take on ember and some suggestions on how to buff her
So I've played ember, not religiously but I've build her with shards and use her very little because I will admit she's weak. She can be very strong (with heat inherit) but under 90% of Steel Path she's mid at best. BUT I have some solutions, here's my list:
Fireball: in my mind, like most 1st abilities of old Warframes, it's too weak to use for damage but it is used for it's element infusion augment. So my suggestion is to make Fireball Frenzy apply it's buff to her abilities (mainly her 4th) instead of just weapons. This results in you having to rely less on heat priming, and this buff can also all infusion augments but Saryn
Immolation: I think while okay here it stands, it is a bit conflicted since it's DR doesn't effect the Overguard from her 3rds augment. My solution is to raise the DR amount to a max of 95% and to make it so whenever you loose heat meter via abilities instead of reducing it instantly it should be drained overtime. And casting abilities should either pause that drain or negate it so it's not as noticeable/it won't drain as much
Fire Blast: it's a good ability, but it doesn't match her kit at all, at least her augment doesn't. So here's a solution, buff the armour strip minimum to 70%-100% and reduce the heat meter consumption to 35/40% on cast. Her augment should keep the healing part but the Overguard portion should be changed. Instead when she casts her ability any health past max should be given as overshield, this lets her utilise that DR from her 2nd much more. Maybe as a side effect it also increases her max overshield limit too
Inferno: okay, I think we should keep it over WoF but it needs 2 things given to it. Firstly a damage buff is in order, like raise it to 5,000-7,000 damage base. Secondly it should receive the same damage tick scaler Uril has on Brimstone however tweaked a little. It should give a smaller damage buff but scale faster per recast, so casting it once will kill a enemy faster then now but it'll take a few seconds. But at the cost of multiple casts the damage buff raises dramatically which can give back that power fantasy of setting the world on fire
Idk how well this take will be received, if you need anything explained then feel free to ask in the comments. Have a good one tenno
