1. Rocks - strongest on panel presence, best ambition, cool design, easiest to root for (strongly opposes the celestial dragons and more than anything else, wants to save his family)

2. Whitebeard - extremely strong presence (second only to Rocks), awesome devil fruit, fought the entire world to save his family and one of the most epic deaths in manga

3. Harald - easily the most well written old gen (by far), tragic yet amazing character journey, actual character development, cool dynamic with Rocks

4. Gaban - cool design, entertaining, love his choice of weapons, absolute badass

5. Rayleigh - easily the best moniker in One Piece (Dark King), some of the coolest moments in the show (saving the Strawhats, showcase of conqueror’s haki at the slave auction, one shotting Sommers)

6. Oden - don’t remember much but just found him very likeable, he also had a cool death

7. Roger - nothing interesting about him, the only reason he’s even this high is cuz I like his design and his introduction was legendary

8. Sengoku - mid character, became slightly likeable post TS

9. Shiki - just a bum

10. Garp - the world government’s bitch, yeah Sengoku is too but at least Sengoku doesn’t act like something he’s not, whereas Garp larps as a badass courageous warrior but his actions and character choices make him the biggest bitch in One Piece

My ranking of the old gen in terms of likability
