I’m troubleshooting an AM5 ITX build and I’m stuck.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 9600X
ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi
DDR5 RAM, confirmed working in another DDR5 system
RX 7900 XT
Corsair SF850 PSU, about 1 year old
NCASE M2

Original issue:
PC screen froze hard and holding the power button apparently would not shut it off, so it was unplugged. After that, it would power fans/GPU RGB but had no display and keyboard would not initialize. Rear USB ports could charge an iPad, but keyboard would not light/connect.

What I tried on the old board:
Cleared CMOS
Reseated RAM and tried every combination, GPU, CPU, and motherboard power cables
Tested both RAM sticks one at a time
Tested RAM in another PC, and the RAM works
Tried BIOS Flashback
Tried using my Xbox on monitor and monitor still works fine.

While removing/reseating RAM during troubleshooting, I accidentally broke one of the RAM slot holder/latch pieces on the motherboard. I also attempted BIOS Flashback on the old board, but during the process my little sibling hit the off switch on the extension cord. After that, the motherboard seemed bricked and would not turn on at all, so I bought the same motherboard again and rebuilt the full system.

Current situation:
The new motherboard/system turns on now, but once again I get no display at all. I tried the motherboard HDMI because the Ryzen 5 9600X has basic integrated graphics but it did not work.

Question:
What should I check next? Could this be old BIOS support for Ryzen 9000, AM5 DDR5 memory training, CPU/socket issue, or something else? Should I BIOS Flashback the new

PC won’t turn on….bios?
