Is a Cybertruck up to the coming El Niño?

I have been planning to buy the mid-tier Cybertruck. I have a Nissan Armada 4WD that I will give to my son when he graduates from college in May.

I’m getting older and I want the largest self-driving vehicle I can buy. So, a Cybertruck it is.

Here in California, we are anticipating a very wet winter from the strengthening and historically strong El Niño. I’m near Malibu.

Will the CT function/perform/withstand (thrive?) in heavy rains and possible flooding?

And a true novice question: is it safe to charge a Tesla outside in the driveway in such heavy rain? My wife has a Tesla 3 and we have the Tesla power charger, but we charge it inside the garage. The CT will not fit into our garage.
