The middle of my laptop screen started flickering all weirdly recently

Dell xps 15 9530. At the time of posting this everything w my laptop should be up to date.

Idk what the issue could be, I’m not a tech savvy person at all. It just flickers in that one specific spot, and I’ve also noticed that when opening certain apps, like a third of the screen looks off and takes a bit too fully load. The flickering is right in the middle, and it’s not a solid block. It’s hard to explain. It doesn’t turn completely black either it just goes darker.

Sorry if I sound stupid lmfao I am very out of place. Any help n info would be greatly appreciated!
