HD doesn’t care about mental illnesses

THIS IS A BULLSHIT COMPANY!

IF YOU PLAN ON WORKING HERE AND YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL PROBLEMS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

THEY DONT GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT ME OR OTHERS WHO ARE STRUGGLING.

The short of it is that i struggle with bipolar 1, and recently I’ve been going through a rough patch.

There was an incident at work, which is a separate issue. But I started to have a panic attack and hid in the training room. My manager and supervisor both knew I was back there.

That night I didn’t get any sleep as I was having a mental breakdown. The next day after realizing I was not getting over it I went to my psychiatrist and he advised I stay the night at the psychiatric ward so I can be watched and get better sleep with the care of the nurses. The problem was that I had a closing shift, and i do not have the sick time to cover, I also have 3.5 occurrences. I told this to my doctor and he said that he will write a doctor letter so I wouldn’t get a write up.

Problem is that I called work and they said they don’t take doctors notes. WTF, IM SORRY BUT THAT IS ILLEGAL ( I think, I only googled it). And I tried getting in touch with my ASDS but they haven’t called back.

I’m on my day off and will return to work tomorrow. if they don’t accept my note I’m going to find a place that cares.

I’ve given 5 years. I have supported my coworkers and bosses through the ups and downs. I made sure to know everyone and to support the people who are struggling, this job isn’t to hard it just takes help from others. I have made a lot of friends and they are awesome. SO WHEN I ASK THEM TO HELP ME THIS ONE TIME, AND THEY SAY NO!!!!
