Why all roods connecting Mumbai from east to west or north to south are always congested I mean seriously Mumbai is richest city in Asia still feels like we live in backward place

I just want to rant our my frustration I have been living in Mumbai and MMR region for last 20+ years I grew up here and year by year it is getting worse all main roads joining east west and north south are fucked up literally daily.

I am not looking for answers but putting my frustration out there this is mentally exhausting last week it took me 2.5 hours to reach Chembur from Kalyan I can reach to Pune in almost same time what the actual fuck This is
