New to Top lane. Should I main Sion or Cho'Gath?

I like playing tanky heroes in other games so I figure I'd like top lane but I'm stuck between Sion and Cho'Gath. I like Cho's HP-stacking and the true damage on his R, but Sion's damage looks really fun too. Which one would make the most sense for someone learning Top lane?
